Experience the ultimate adventure with our Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu, a thrilling 4-day, 3-night journey combining biking, hiking, and rafting to bring you closer to the awe-inspiring beauty of this ancient wonder.
Your adventure begins with an exhilarating 6-hour downhill bike ride from the high Malaga pass, descending through the rugged terrain of the Andes into the lush cloud forest below. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of towering mountains, verdant valleys, and charming villages nestled amidst the landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for coca leaf plantations, banana trees, coffee plantations, and a variety of other flora that flourish in this fertile region.
As you pedal your way through this diverse landscape, you’ll also have the opportunity to hike along the sacred Urubamba River, following in the footsteps of the ancient Incas. This scenic trail offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of this storied land, with opportunities to explore hidden ruins and encounter local wildlife along the way.
But the adventure doesn’t end there. After a day of biking and hiking, you’ll trade your wheels for paddles as you embark on an exhilarating rafting expedition along the rushing waters of the Urubamba River. Feel the thrill of navigating through rapids and cascading waterfalls as you make your way towards your final destination: the iconic town of Machu Picchu.
Arriving in Machu Picchu, you’ll be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of this ancient Incan citadel, nestled amidst the mist-shrouded peaks of the Andes. Explore the labyrinthine ruins, marvel at the ingenuity of Incan engineering, and soak in the mystical atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
